Drift eliminators are used in air treatment units (ATU), Scrubbers, ventilation and humidification systems that are characterized by their strong thermo-mechanical resistance. They are produced in PP (on request in PVC only for some models) and their characteristics meet the extinguishing standards (CTI 136 and ASTM E-84).

Their function is mainly to separate the drops of water present in the air flow for vertical flows (modular panel separators), furthermore their efficiency is equal to 99% (with nominal speed of 3 m/s) and is measured, in basis of the expulsion of water into the air, in proportion to the quantity of water at the section of the separators. They also allow excellent water distribution, maximizing the use of the contact surfaces and increasing their performance.

They are also used in inlet hoods, for vertical air flows, as they prevent water droplets and dirt from entering the turbine.

Designed for horizontal air flows with frontal speed between 3 m/s and 6 m/s and with a water / air ratio (1 l/m³) with a standard pitch of 25. In more difficult situations it is recommended to reduce the pitch to 20 mm, where the frontal speed is between 6 m/s and 8 m/s there is a high water / air ratio (1.5l / m3).
